On the heels of its world premiere on April 3rd, GMC is teasing its all-electric Hummer EV SUV, as if anticipation isn’t high enough.
This is the second video clip of the Hummer EV SUV seen from he automaker. This teaser initially presents the Hummer EV pickup and then teases the Hummer EV SUV. If you arent paying attention you may miss it as the two upcoming EVs from GMC look extremely similar aside from the closed bed. The pickup also appears to have a little more length to it.
The GMC Hummer EV SUV will be tough competition for names like Rivian and its also highly anticipated R1S electric SUV. Although, the Hummer EV SUV will likely come to market with a bigger price tag than the R1S, they are both being marketed towards adventure-driven individuals.
GMC is expected to launch the Hummer EV SUV in 2022, and as mentioned above, likely with a hefty price tag. With the GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 expected to be launched this Fall with a starting price of $112,595 (MSRP), it is almost certain that the first edition of the Hummer EV SUV will be at least $100,000.
