As promised, Rivian launched its configurator for the R1T electric pick-up yesterday. After releasing more details about the first production versions of the R1T and R1S last week, the startup opened its configurator to the public and it is ready to use:

Last week Rivian announced that its R1T would come to the market with a starting price of $67,500 and exceed 300 miles in range. In addition, the startup confirmed that the first deliveries of the electric pick-up will take place in June 2021.
Along with the release of its R1T starting price, Rivian also released the starting price of its equally anticipated R1S. The all electric SUV will come to the market with a starting price of $70,000. However, the first to see deliveries will be the R1S Launch Edition model, which will start at $77,500 and should see deliveries in August 2021.
You can currently secure your R1T electric pickup with a $1,000 deposit which will then give you access to the configurator.
