The ID.3, the first new-generation electric car from Volkswagen, will begin its deliveries next August. Currently, the German brand is trying to finalize the development of the vehicle’s software.
Volkswagen continues to make the wait enjoyable by revealing new details of the vehicle. On this occasion, the automaker has shown in a virtual event the color palette that the car body will wear, as well as its interior finishes. Also, details have been given about some of the compact’s customization options.
All paints will be metallic: Mondstein Gray, Makena Turquoise, Gletscherwhite, Mangangrey, Stonewashed Blue, and Scale Silver. Most colors will be gray or dark, except a striking turquoise blue. On the other hand, the C-pillar can be decorated with two motifs (Iconic or Cooper) to match the rims.
Inside, it is possible to choose a gray (Platinum Gray) or white (Dusty Dark) finish for the steering wheel, instrumentation, central screen, and door armrests. In contrast, the upper dash panel and door panels can be black or orange-brown (Sofrano Orange). In the cabin, there will be no lack of gadgets such as a multifunction steering wheel with touch controls, a Head-up Display, etc.
