Tesla´s most popular model has received a significant price drop that will allow it to remain competitive in an increasingly crowded market of electric alternatives from generalist brands (Hyundai, Volkswagen) and premium firms (Audi, BMW).
The Standard Range Plus RWD access variant maintains its previous rate of 49,000 euros. The Long Range Dual Motor intermediate version now also qualifies for government subsidies, which set a price limit of €45,000 plus VAT. After a reduction of about 7,000 euros, the model now costs 52,390 euros, a considerable reduction that brings it closer to its younger brother’s rates.
Both the Standard Range Plus RWD and the Long Range Dual Motor benefit from a discount of 1,210 euros from Tesla, to which should be added the 4,000 euros of the MOVES Plan (and another 1,500 euros if a vehicle with more than seven years), remaining at 42,290 euros and 45,680 euros respectively if we apply all possible discounts.
