It is no secret that every manufacturer in the vehicle industry has seen delays due to the coronavirus pandemic, and GMC is no exception. With plans of launching an all-electric Hummer pickup truck this past May, the time has come and gone and the electric pickup remains a mystery to most.
Now we are learning it will only be a few more weeks until GMC finally unveils its Hummer EV pickup truck with its official reveal planned for October 20, 2020. Along with the reveal, GM will open its order books for the new pickup the same day.
In a brief new video posted to the GMC Youtube channel, we see a lot of claims but that’s about it. The video shows very little as far as the Hummer EV itself aside from an outline at the end leaving plenty to the imagination. The “World’s First All-Electric Supertruck” claims that “the quiet revolution is coming” and “it will shatter all expectations.”
