First Solid State Automotive Lidar Starts Production in China

During the past CES2021, RoboSense officially presented the LiDAR RS-LiDAR-M1 designed for the automotive industry. The company has been piling up orders for mass production from builders around the world. One of the first clients is based in the United States.

In December last year, samples of the new RS-LiDAR-M1 were sent to different OEM customers. This sets up the Chinese proposal as the first MEMS solid-state LiDAR for the automotive industry, ready to be mass-produced globally.

A few days ago, Inceptio launched a ‘Xuanyuan‘ autonomous driving system equipped with RoboSense solid-state LiDAR. Both parties have announced the partnership with which the mass-produced L3 heavy-duty truck will be provided with the “Xuanyuan” system and launched on the market at the end of 2021.
