With an elaborate video where you can see some details of the prototypes that define the new IONIQ range’s future lines, the Hyundai group is launching a promotional campaign for its new line of electric cars with which it wants to conquer the market from 2021, under the slogan “I’m in Charge.” A play on words that introduces the customer to the world of zero-emission cars.
Hyundai is one of the manufacturers that have decided to bet on a new emission-free mode, thanks to a range that combines different options between its two KIA brands and Hyundai itself.
The Korean brand models have achieved surprising efficiency results, being, for many specialists, the best alternative on the market outside the Tesla universe. Suppose there is a, but that can be put to the Korean manufacturer. In that case, its vehicles are ‘adaptations’ of thermal platforms, something that is about to change with the arrival of the first electric cars created from the E-GMP platform.
In the future, the 100% electric Hyundai will be called IONIQ, the new brand of Hyundai Motor Company. To publicize this new vision of the end of mobility, an elaborate 4K video has been created where ‘eco-conscious ‘consumers from all over the world are invited also to take action and responsibility in the global fight against climate change.
The protagonists of the video, recorded in different parts of the planet, are the British adventurer David de Rothschild and the fashion designer Maria Cornejo. From the tropical jungles, through glaciers to deserts, the Korean brand tries to show its side that is more committed to the environment, involving the public, asking them a question: “What if you could?” in apparent reference to those people who think that by themselves they cannot change the world.
To Wonhong Cho, Executive Vice President, and Global Marketing Director, Hyundai Motor Company:”Concerns about global issues such as transportation, housing, and the environment are becoming a reality, and ‘Clean Mobility’ is Hyundai’s solution to these issues and a sustainable future.”
This new era of the Hyundai group called IONIQ represents “Progress for Humanity.” The starting gun of the process is embodied in the arrival of the new E-GMP platform, which provides innovative solutions in an apparent attempt to maintain and improve the current position that the Korean manufacturer has in the growing electric car sector.
