Just as Tesla did, Rivian is creating its public fast-charging network, called the Rivian Adventure Network. The American startup already hired former Tesla employees to work this through. The public charging structure will be a reality for Rivian.
Until now, only Tesla has built its own charging network, and it has been spread around the globe, no other companies did the same. Rivian confirmed that the network couldn´t be compared to Tesla´s; it will be small and placed in strategic locations, such as Joshua Tree or Yellowstone.
Rivian´s electric trucks are scheduled to hit the market next year, and they are the already famous R1T pickup truck and R1S SUV. These vehicles can be charged at any charging station (CSS locations).
