Germany to Invest 5.5 Billion Euros in its EV Charging Network

In Germany, both the government and its businessmen have understood that the electricity future is inevitable, so it is better to be the first and take advantage of a market in full growth than to arrive at the last when everything is sold.

In this way, the government in Germany has promised to launch a grant of public financing worth 5.5 billion euros. This stimulus line will be aimed at supporting and expanding the electric car recharging network.

According to the latest reports made public by Steffen Seibert, Chancellor Angela Merkel’s spokesperson, this stimulus plan valued at 5.5 billion euros will be effective until 2024.

The implementation of these public aids aims to solve the charging network’s problem, one of the factors that are slowing down as much as the low production of electric cars by traditional manufacturers.
