This week, one of the most influential companies on the planet has made an important announcement laying the foundations for transforming its fleet towards electric vehicles. We are talking about Coca-Cola, which has joined the EV100 initiative, through which it is proposed that its fleet will be electric in less than 10 years.
This movement addresses the need to reduce its activity’s environmental impact to achieve neutrality in emissions by 2040 and reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) in its value chain by 30% by 2030.
And it is that the greenhouse effect emissions generated by the fleet of this giant represent approximately 17% of the direct emissions of any company. A section that they hope to improve substantially with the adoption of electrical systems for a large part of their fleet.
