In a new spy shot obtained by InsideEvs we see a heavily camouflaged fully-electric BMW i7 prototype on the road with some very peculiar looking headlights.
In the image, a seemingly normal looking large sedan can be seen completely camouflaged. However, one thing in particular sticks out about the prototype; it appears that the car does not have conventional headlights. It is reminiscent of BMW’s 1990s 8 Series coupe with pop-up headlights, but that is highly unlikely.
It looks like the rear lights are different as well, appearing in clustered formations that reach further out. Possibly inspired by the rear design seen on the current BMW 5 Series.
Although no official details regarding the i7’s range have been released, there have been rumors that it will be around 400 miles on the WLTP test cycle. For the time being, we will just have to wait for BMW to release more technical specs.
