Elon Musk has adjusted the timeline for the release of Tesla’s much anticipated Autopilot rewrite by about a month, possibly more.
Just last month, Tesla CEO Elon Musk took toTwitter to describe the rewrite as a “quantam leap” for Tesla FSD saying it will be available for limited public release in 6 to 10 weeks. Musk also stated that the “neural net is absorbing more and more of the problem” as part of the rewrite.
Now we are learning that the first public beta is still another 6 to 10 weeks away. Musk commented on Twitter:
With this statement, early access owners could still wait another 10 weeks to see the public beta, pushing the full public release to December in the U.S.
