US Employees Working on the Berlin Gigafactory are Withdrawn

Donald Trump is to ban European flights to the US concerning to the coronavirus, and because of that, Tesla withdraws US employees working on the Berlin Gigafactory.

A report from theeGerman’s Automobilwoche states that: “now the California-based electric car maker has ordered its German team back to the United States. Around 30 Americans who are currently working in Berlin are on the way back, according to information from the Automobilwoche. That is a large part of all employees. The background is the spread of the coronavirus in Germany.”

The report also explains that this move of the automaker with the American employees “could have consequences for the start of construction of the planned factory near Berlin.”
