The car that won the City Car of the Year trophy at TopGear.com’s annual awards ceremony was the Renault ZOE. It has impressive performance and range, use of recycled materials, unique driving pleasure, and low running costs.
The Renault ZOE, characterized as a compact size electric car, is equipped with a system of two engines, four-wheel drive, and the power of 250 kW (340 hp).
The car has a striking figure that also adds a significant reduction in its weight, thanks to the elimination of all comfort elements and the use of a lower capacity battery. The seat trim is made from 100% recycled materials and comes with a new dashboard screen.
Renault has installed a 27 kWh battery, enough to cover the races and can be charged from 0 to 50% in 25 minutes, adding up to 90 miles range.
