New Mercedes Spotted in Camouflage

The Mercedes-Benz EQS was spotted in camouflage. It looks like the car will be equivalent to the S-Class. The production will start in 2020 and will probably be in the show rooms by 2021.

The EQS will be the first model of the brand to use the MEA electric modular platform (the current EQC, for example, uses the adapted thermal GLC platform). This is noticeable in its stylized proportions: it has a reduced front, trimmed overhangs, a massive wheelbase, and a very aerodynamic silhouette. Thus, the vehicle can enjoy a much wider cabin than a thermal model of a similar size.

The vehicle has a power of 469 hp (350 kW) and 760 Nm of torque. This allows it to do 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 km/h. Its battery pack has 100 kWh of capacity, which gives it an autonomy of 700 km per charge. The model can charge 350 kW of direct current power, which will allow it to recover autonomy very quickly.
