On the past week, Volkswagen released more details on its Electric model, ID.3. The news is related to the battery packs and the power charge from the car.

About the battery, the revelation is that the lithium-ion battery, which will have three different options: 45 kWh, 57 kWh, and 77kWh, will have a warranty covered at 70% of usable capacity for eight years or 160,000 km (about 1000,000 miles).

On the charging matter, the German company revealed that the capacity would be up to 125kw, which represents the “higher than anything achieved to date in the ID.3 segment”. Such power assures that a 30-minute recharge can fuel a 260 km range on the EV’s capacity.
