Despite being a newcomer to the electric market, the FIAT 500 is already one of the electric cars with one of the widest ranges. The iconic Italian urban is currently available with three bodies: three-door sedan, convertible, and 3 + 1, as well as and two powertrains.
Its access variant ACTION is equipped with a 95 hp (70 kW) engine with which it is capable of doing the 62 MPH in 9.5 seconds. The PASSION and ICON finishes, which are available with any of the three bodies, add a more performance-oriented powertrain. Its engine produces 118 hp (87 kW), which allows it to lower the 60 MPH to 9 seconds.
However, everything seems to indicate that this iconic electric vehicle will be enriched with the arrival of new versions: Olivier François, head of the brand, has confirmed the development of an Abarth sports version. Although the manager has not confirmed dates, its launch will probably take place in 2022.
