New footage has been release today of Ford’s F-150 electric pickup prototype testing. In the video uploaded to the Electrek Daily Youtube channel we get a glimpse of the truck’s impressive performance.
Ford confirmed it’s plans of an all-electric version of the F-150 last year. To date, the closest look we have gotten of the new electric pickup was in a video released by Ford last summer showing the all electric F-150 towing over a million lbs of train carts.
Now, Ford has released a new video of the prototype highlighting the truck’s towing and off-road capacity while tackling high grade hills:
Production of the new all electric F-150 will start sometime in early 2022, with units expected to begin coming off the line in Dearborn in mid 2022.
