Following the announcement of Peugeot’s e-Expert compact electric van, the French automotive manufacturer revealed information and pictures of its upcoming all-electric large van, the e-Boxer.
It will come with two battery options, 37 kWh and 70 kWh. The larger pack is expected to allow a single charge range about 211 miles. They will be available in 4 length and 3 height options. Depending on the version it is expected to have a payload of around 4,100 lbs and a loading volume up to 17 cubic meters.
As Peugeot is a part of the PSA group it is likely that announcement from other PSA group members, such as Citroën, are soon to follow.
No information regarding the start of sales was released but according to the plan announced in Spring, sales will probably start from 2020/2021 followed by a small EV van.
