The Tesla Model 3 is achieving enormous success in the European market, as it is also happening in the United States and China. The electric vehicle has snuck into the general ranking of best-selling cars, rubbing shoulders with models such as the Volkswagen Golf or the Renault Clio.
Overall, 9 out of 20 Model 3 buyers are willing to spend more than before purchasing their vehicles. Later offsetting it with the savings associated with its electrical mechanics.
Interestingly, the previous car from most European buyers of the Tesla Model 3 was the Volkswagen Golf. A compact, significantly cheaper, compared to the electric sedan. The BMW 3 Series, Audi A3, BMW 5 Series, and the Audi A4 follow along, and only the 3 Series is a direct rival to the Model 3
These data, obtained between February 2019 and February 2020, also show that 17 out of 20 customers come from a hybrid vehicle or regular cars. Only 3 out of 20 from an electric vehicle.
Tesla Model 3 has become a perfectly viable option for customers in general. Almost half of the buyers of a Tesla Model 3 are willing to spend considerably more on the acquisition of their new car due to subsidies and low maintenance costs.
