Tesla Turns Model 3 Performance Into a Circuit Beast

Tesla has just presented its new “Track Package.” A sports package specially designed for the Model 3 Performance that turns the electric sedan into a real circuit beast.

The pack costs $5,500, including installation and consists of 20-inch Zero-G Performance sports tires, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, front and rear high-performance brake pads, and special brake fluid for circuit-driving. The installation of the Track Package will begin in April, and according to Tesla, the update could affect the autonomy of the vehicle.

In parallel to the launch of the “Track Package,” Tesla has launched the Track Mode V2, which will arrive free of charge utilizing an OTA update to all those users who have already acquired the Track Mode. Regarding the original system, the Track Mode V2 adds features such as post-driving cooling, compressor overclock, etc.

The new Track Mode V2 also allows you to customize the vehicle configuration so that drivers can squeeze the car’s performance on the track to the fullest. Among other data of interest, this mode allows us to view information about the powertrain, tire temperature, and G forces. On the other hand, the user can adjust the stability assistants or the regeneration level, among other things.
