Hyundai Presents New Ultra-Fast Charger Concept

Hyundai published on its Twitter account the new concept for ultra-charging, going one step further and offering 350 kW in its facilities.

This will be possible thanks to the new “Halo” Tritium charger that IONITY presented in Frankfurt. The name of this device is due to the halo-shaped LED light on the top. The “Halo” Tritium charger will have seven different languages, allow contactless payment methods, and will have a liquid cooling system.

Also, the light emitted by the halo will be bright enough so that the stations do not need the installation of street lamps, which will make the facilities more sustainable. The goal is that the 350 kW chargers will be available at 220 of the 400 charging stations planned for 2020.
