GM Electric Pick Up on Sales in 2021

Finally, GM reveals plans to build electric pick up for 2021. It is still unclear whether there will be a new concept or just an existing vehicle that will migrate to the electric category.

Most likely, the carmaker felt pressured by the launch of the Tesla pick up Cybertruck, which unveils today at 11 PM. Ford already announced the launch of its electric Ford F150 pick up, and in addition to that, Ford has invested in Rivian, an EV startup that brought to market its own electric pickup, R1t for next year.

The market for electric pickups is growing on a large scale since a year ago it didn’t even exist. Rivian will be the first on the market for this category.
