In a press release that came out this week, Tesla revealed the numbers of sales during the third quarter of 2019. They reached almost 97,000 sales which surpassed the number of 95,356 units out in Q2.
With the crescent adoption of electric vehicles all around the world, Tesla has been taking the lead on selling the most units for interested customers. The company has been offering the best AI tech and exclusive features on the market for a long time now.
Out of all the Teslas on the streets during this year, Model 3 was the most popular one. It is estimated that 79,600 of them were Model 3s.
In 2018, Elon Musk’s company built 350,000 cars. In 2019, with still two months to the end of the year, Tesla has 255,000 vehicles on the streets.Â
Elon Musk wants its carmaker to hit somewhere between 360,000 and 400,000 sales by the end of this year. To achieve such a high number, the automaker will have to outsell itself by Q4. The expectations grow month after month.Â
