Opposing its new rise on the prices of its electric vehicles, Tesla received a tax exemption in China.
The surprise was announced in the country today. It comes as good news for potential buyers that were affected by the growth of prices that was already expected.
With this new policy offered by the Chinese government, people can save up to $13,957 (99,000 yuan). This turns out to be a good offer since the Chinese government applies a 10% purchase tax on cars.
Even though no official reasons were given, it seems that the government of China wants to encourage the EV market even more, where in a country so populated, it is of course, a good deal.
