Porsche Taycan Travels for 24 hours at Nardo Test Circuit

On Italian Test Circuit Nardo, the Porsche Taycan traveled over 2,000 miles in 24 hours.

The drive was not straight beginning to end. During the stops along the course, drivers would switch places and the car would be charged, but very quickly.

This shows a useful feature from Taycan, where its 800-volt charging system took care of the issue with no problems. The Vice President of Porsche’s Taycan product-line, Stefan Weckbach, stated:

“The result achieved in Nardo highlights the advantages of the unique 800-volt technology and its high maturity level. Before the Taycan is launched on the market at the end of the year, we will have covered over 3.75 million miles across the globe.”

The official version of the vehicle will debut on September 4th, with all 40,000 units produced sold already, according to Porsche.
