Lexus Wants All of Their Vehicles to Have an Electric Version by 2025

The Japanese company talked about the future and on what we can expect about Electric Vehicles from them.

On Lexus’s 30 birthday, last Thursday, the carmaker company celebrated everything it achieved so far. The Vice President, Koji Sato also talked about the future and stated:

“We plan to roll out 10 EVs by 2025. At the same time, every Lexus model on the road will be available as a dedicated electrified model or have an electrified option.”

What “electrified” means is the spectrum from hybrid, plug-in hybrid, battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. The implemented EV technology will depend on the ‘need’ Lexus sees in the market. The Vice president said:

“We will choose for each model based on the demand or background of the market.”

On Tokyo Motor Show, Lexus will provide more information on the EV future. Until then, we can expect the Japanese Luxury Brand to develop their cars so it can show how it will put this plan in action.
