Mercedes just announced the release of its first EV, the EQC, in Japan.
The choice to first release it in Japan is to attract customers to the EV market in the country.
On a single charge, the EQC can travel 248 miles (400 km) and even reach 62 mph (100km/h) in five seconds.
Deliveries of the vehicle will officially start in October. A special edition of the EQC can be reserved after July 18, with a limitation of only 55 models.
Mercedes is working on the Japanese Market with a great strategy. Investing where the number of customers can still grow, Mercedes wants to be the first company to be recognised around EVs in Japan. Will it work?
