On the past semester, almost half of the sold vehicles in Norway were electric ones. With a percentage of 48.4%, the Nordic country leads the sales of Electric cars in per- capita.
In the whole year of 2018, the sales reached 31.2%, which shows a significant increase in the country, caused mainly by companies such as Tesla, Hyundai, and others that can offer a full alternative on Electric Vehicles, instead of hybrids.
On Norway’s plans for the future, Electric Vehicles will take over gas-fueled ones by the next decade.
Tesla has been the leading sales with around 3,760 vehicles out on the streets.
Will Norway be the first country to reach a full clean mobility system and have all of its cars replaced by the EVs? With acquisition power from the people and investment from the companies, this looks like the right way to go.
