On the last Tesla’s Shareholder meeting, Elon Musk hinted about the future on supplying batteries to their products.
Currently controlled by Panasonic, the scale of production of the batteries limits the Electric Vehicle company development. To solve such issues, Musk said that he might invest in the mining business so that they can assure “the fastest rate possible.”
It is essential to remember that Tesla’s CEO didn’t confirm anything with proper words, but announced that more news could come at the “Battery and Powertrain Investor Day,” happening at the end of this year.
With the continuous growth of Tesla, it is important for the company to keep up with every step of the production.
From mining the basic materials to the end, selling its products, there is a need to speed up and standardize their line, and by now it is time for Tesla to take over and make sure everything goes as their plans for the present and future.
