The 3rd version of Teslas Supercharger is starting to be available to the public.
This is the second place that you can use the 250kW, the charger is on the grounds of Tesla’s Factory in Fremont.
This first one is located in the company HQ in Hawthorne. It’s expected to all major routes in the US to be populated by them soon.
The new Model 3 uses all 250 kW of power, can charge 75 miles in only 5 minutes and a theoretical 1,000 miles in an hour. The model S and X only supports peaks of 200kW, that means that we could see a slash of 50% of charging times compared with older versions of the Supercharger.
