CES is the annual mecca of all electronic things, and now it is full of cars. Whether autonomous, electric, or loaded with technologies, vehicles of all kinds are presented at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We have gathered some of the best CES 2020 cars.
Fisker Ocean
How do you sell an electric SUV with so many rivals in this segment, such as the Rivian R1S up to the Tesla Model X? With innovative features such as “California Model.” At the push of a button, Fisker Ocean lowers nine windows – including the rear glass and sunroof – so that outside air can enter (and enjoy the typical California weather).
Mercedes-Benz
On the outside, the vehicle is shown as an extremely low four-door sports car. The Vision AVTR tries to imitate the breathing and movement of Avatar creatures inspired in the movie, using 33 multifunctional fins located in the back of the car, which move in a synchronized way to improve aerodynamics at high speed.
Sony
The VISION-S has a total of 33 sensors (including Sony’s new LiDARs) to monitor the exterior and interior of the vehicle. Its objective is to demonstrate the viability of its detection functions. As for entertainment, we should highlight the 360 Reality Audio, which promises an immersive acoustic experience in the car interior.
Toyota’s Woven City
Called ‘Woven City’ and located in Japan, this city will be a ‘living laboratory’ and will serve as a home for full-time residents and researchers who can test and develop technologies such as autonomous mobility, robotics, personal mobility, smart homes, and artificial intelligence in a real environment.
Amazon Integrate Alexa to Rivian and Lamborghini vehicles
Alexa will be integrated into the Rivian´s R1T and R1S SUV and in the Italian new Lamborghini, Huracán. Alexa will include playing music, climate control, opening and closing the trunk, placing calls, and navigation. Along with other specific vehicle features.
