On a Youtube video, Mercedes just made a comparison between its regular gasoline-fueled vehicles and the new EV models.
It is no news at this point that Electric Vehicles are promised to be silent and that is a great innovative feature. Sound pollution is one of the many downsides brought by cars.
On the other hand, the noises created can help pedestrians, and even other vehicles on detecting where is something coming from. The EVs, being quiet as they are, might cause accidents and that is a real concern.
With that, a lot of the companies responsible for creating the Electric cars are developing unique sounds for their machines.
