Damon Motorcycles Hypersport: Electric Motorcycle with 320 Kilometers of Autonomy

Damon Motorcycles presented the HyperSport during the Las Vegas CES, which thanks to its specifications, has become one of the most promising electric motorcycles on the scene. It even won the CES 2020 Innovation Awards.

The Damon Motorcycles Hypersport promises a real autonomy of about 320 km in mixed. It can reach a top speed of 320 km/h, all thanks to a power of about 200 hp and a torque of 200 Nm. It is capable of doing 0 to 60 miles per hour (0-96.6 km/h) in less than three seconds, which puts it at the height of hypercars. In addition, it can be charged in less than three hours.

This model features the ergonomic Shider Rider system and the advanced CoPilot warning system. Simply by pressing a button, the Shider Rider function moves the handlebars, the footrests, the seat, and the windshield which allows two types of driving position to be combined on a single motorcycle: one more relaxed for cruises and urban driving, and another sporty when the driver wants a more exciting experience.

It will be offered in two versions: Hypersport HS and Hypersport Premier. The first will offer a carbon fiber swingarm, Brembo brakes, and Ohlins suspension. The second will be limited to 25 units. The first deliveries will take place in mid-2021 and can already be booked (the HS for $100, and the Premier for $1,000). The starting price will be $24,995.
