Volvo is another car manufacturer that is betting hard on electric vehicles. This week the Swedish company announced the prices of the Polestar 2 in Europe.
The strategy appears to be to compete directly with the Model 3. The first countries to receive the new car are the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, and Norway.
We don’t have much information on prices for the U.S and Asian markets, but it’s expected to be around $65,000
The car is expected to start production at the beginning of next year and the first deliveries to begin in June.
The price will be different for every market. Norway €46,000, UK £49.900, and other countries will have an estimated cost of around €59,000. All the prices have VAT included, service for 3 years, and all-wheel-drive powertrain.
