Tesla Customers Pushing Smart Summon to the Edge

On several videos posted on Youtube and Twitter, customers are seen trying the new feature on Tesla cars, Smart Summon. However, things don’t always go as planned.

In the video posted by Youtube channel Dirty Tesla, the Model 3 (the one featured on the video) is tested to see if it will stop when a pedestrian is crossing right in front of it.

Even though tests on the new feature are essential to the car, it is necessary to remember that the main responsibility for the EV’s integrity is the driver controlling the vehicle from the app.

To make the car run, all you need to do is press the button on your device but also be aware of your surroundings and what may or may not be moving. The driver in a different car is not obligated to know that the Tesla next to them is being controlled remotely.

The new feature of the v10 update is on Beta version, so we can expect improvements.

Until the then, customers should not try to tarnish the image of Smart Summon. It is impressive and brings new features to the vehicle market.
