Hennessey Will Get its First EV Tuned – A Porsche Taycan

The famous company Hennessey, known for modifying sports cars for several brands such as Ferrari, Porsche, and Jeep, will receive its first EV to work with.

One of the most anticipated electric cars of 2019, the Porsche Taycan, has already reached a very high status on the EV market. Now, Hennessey is expected to work on tuning the Taycan, the first electric in the history of the company.

“We’ve been planning to do something with electrified vehicles for a while now. We felt that the new Porsche Taycan was the right platform from which to modify our first EV,” the CEO of the company, John Hennessey said. “After that, we will see what might be possible in terms of adding more power.”

The car is expected to come to the Texan store at some point in 2020. As John mentioned, there is no intention to be revolutionary in the area, but they actually only “want to make it roll a little cooler and a little faster.”
