The Audi e-tron was just awarded by the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) the highest award on safety, making it the 2019 Top Safety Pick. It is the first electric vehicle to achieve such a high evaluation.

Other electric vehicles that had outstanding results on the tests were the Chevy Bolt EV and Tesla Model S. Even though they had good results, it was not able to reach as high of a score as the Audi did.
A vehicle that might steal the position from the e-tron is Tesla Model 3. It has achieved a perfect performance on every safety test, including ANCAP and more. The car from Elon Musk’s company is being tested this week.
