On the last conference call after the release of Tesla’s Q2 results, Elon Musk talked about how the presentation will happen.
According to him, the presentation will include a “manufacturing plan” for the production of the battery.
The CEO also talked about when will the presentation take place:
“Yes, I think for Battery Day, we’re going to do a comprehensive review of cell chemistry, module and pack, architecture, and manufacturing plan that has a clear roadmap to a terawatt-hour per year. The time for this will probably is about six months like maybe February or March next year show and tell.”
The original plan of Tesla is to manufacture its battery cells, so it doesn’t need to rely on any other sources but itself. The company would present the feature at a presentation day called “Battery and Powertrain Investor Day.”
