On the latest European New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), which evaluates crash tests, the Tesla Model 3 showed off great results on different areas. Proving once again, the vehicle’s capacity.
In the Adult Occupant Protection category, achieved a 96% score. This category tests crash safety for both driver and passenger, where the vehicle collides with two different types of barriers, and also a side crash test.
In Child Occupant Protection, the EV got an 86% score. On this one, three tests on protection against impacts, and also an evaluation of how easy it is to connect a child seat on the car.
On the Safety Assist category, the car beat all of its competitors. The test consists of an evaluation of safety systems, featured in the vehicle.
Even with excellent results on these previous categories, when it came down to the Vulnerable Road Users, the Model 3 had its lowest score. This test consists of a vehicle colliding with a dummy and how much damage is done to its body parts.
Apparently, Tesla is keeping up with what is promised from its vehicles. What started as a word from the company turns into reality. Proving that Elon Musk’s company is just at the start of their hegemony.
