Telsa Roadster Base Model 0-60 mph Downgraded to 2.1 Secs

Tesla changed the 0-60mph time of their supercar to 2.1 secs before any option like a crazy rocket thruster.

On a Tweet, Tesla CEO, Elon Musk said that the new Roadster 0-60mph time is 2.1 seconds before adding rocket thruster option.

When the vehicle was first announced, it has spectacular specs including 0-60 mph in 1.9 sec and 620-mile of range. At the event, Musk let us think that this was the base model specs.

A few months later, he teased us with an out of this world Space X Package that will feature rocket thruster, that will result in even better specs.

Today, on a tweet, the CEO stated that the 0-60mph on the base model will be 2.1 seconds and not 1.9, hence a downgrade from the original number.

Tesla expects to start delivering the new Roadster in 2020. The car is set to be the fastest and quickest car that you could buy. To get your hands in one, you need to deposit $50,000for the base model with a price tag of $200,000 and the founder’s edition, $250,000 with a $250,000 deposit.
