After some pictures that did not tell much about the new all-electric car from Fisker, we finally have some renders of it and my friend, it looks fantastic. As we imagined, this car was designed by Henrik Fisker. The first Fisker vehicle was a hybrid called Karma.
Emotion have a lot more than just a well-shaped body made of aluminum and carbon-fiber, it has a 400-mile autonomy thanks to a lithium-ion cell technology using graphene electrodes and a max speed of 161mph.
“Fisker has taken advantage of the newly developed electric power train layout by pushing the vehicle’s entire interior compartment forward and increasing the wheelbase with distinctively short front and rear overhangs, a layout that increases the interior space,” Fisker Inc. stated in a press statement
Yes, the Emotion is going to be equipped with self-driving technology. The manufacturer did not give us many details about that, only that it’s going to do by a third party. With could be a good thing.
The car is going to be launched in the second half of 2017 and it’s price will be similar to a High-end Tesla Model S. It the Emotion is going to be able to fight the Tesla remains to be seen, but it does have a chance.
