New Audi e-Tron S

The Audi e-Tron S, available in a standard version and Sportback, is, like the other e-Tron, a robust SUV with large dimensions and weight to match. It keeps the battery with a capacity of 95 kWh.

While the e-Tron mounts an engine on the front axle with 184 hp and another on the rear with 224 hp, it allows a total of 408 hp and 664 Nm of torque (for just 8 seconds each time it accelerates at full speed). The e-Tron S opts for a previous engine with 204 hp. At the rear, there are two driving units, each associated with its rear wheel, with 179 hp each. In total, there are 503 hp and 973 Nm of torque, although only for 8 seconds, then returning to 435 hp and 808 Nm.

In addition to the faster speed of 0-100 km/h, which dropped from 5.7 seconds on the e-Tron to just 4.5 seconds on the e-Tron S, the new sports SUV from Audi is distinguished by greater agility and more effective. That is, it is more fun for those who want to take pleasure in driving.

With the two rear engines working separately, without the need for a differential to distribute power across the two wheels of the rear axle, the e-Tron S allows the driver to make memorable “crossings” as if it were a rally car. Perhaps because of this, the manufacturer invited Stig Blomqvist, the Swede (now 73), who won the 1984 Rally World Championship with an Audi Quattro Sport, to drive the new e-Tron S.
