Tesla hired E.ON, Germany’s largest energy company, to design energy solutions for the planned Gigafactory outside Berlin. This creating sustainable solutions and energy products, according to Reuters.
“They gave us 18 months, and we will deliver,” says E.ON CEO Johannes Teyssen. The Tesla plant is expected to be ready by July 2021. The cost of the plant is expected to be around $4 billion. The construction crews already started working to make the level ground for the structure of the Gigafactory.
