Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors are investing 100 million euros in startup Arrival.
Founded in 2015 and based in London, Arrival has developed a futuristic van aimed at the commercial delivery market. The company said its van would have a battery with a range of just under 500 kilometers.
Arrival said it would work with Hyundai and Kia to develop a variety of electric vehicles, initially for the commercial market. The startup said its cars will be equipped with advanced driver assistance features and could be upgraded with autonomous steering systems.
