Tesla is aiming for a very ambitious goal that regards its initial production output. The Chinese news agency The Global Times informed that Tesla would produce around 17000 Made-in-China Model 3s by the end of 2019.
To start the mass production, Tesla needed a permit that was conceded by China on Wednesday. This significant amount of fresh Model 3s is a smart move for the electric car maker since just the final license is needed to proceed to sales.
The numbers Tesla wants to achieve received criticism because the company´s Freemont Factory is already operating at full capacity, and things could be a little different from the Gigafactory in the picture.
