The company revealed full concept images of its brand new electric vehicle the “45” at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which started this week.
Hyundai previously gave a sneak peek of the car, but now the full model was revealed. Its looks are very much inspired by old models from the carmaker. Here is what they said in a press release:
“Inspired by looking back at the brand’s first model in the 1970s, the the『45』fully-electric concept car will act as a symbolic milestone for Hyundai’s future EV design.”
Take a look at the vehicle:
The website ‘The Verge’ pointed out a similarity between the “45” and the 1974 Pony Coupe, also from Hyundai. This is probably the vehicle that inspired the EV.
It is not the first electric vehicle from the company since the Kona SUV is already out on the market, and more projects are coming together with technology provided by Rimac.
So far, no more information was revealed on the project.
