Mazda Finally Unveils its First EV – MX-30

With the start of the Tokyo Motor Show, several carmakers will start to show their new products. With Mazda, it’s no different. They finally revealed their first EV: MX-30.

The new all-electric car by the Japanese carmaker can already be ordered at some places in Europe. Actual deliveries will start in the second half of 2020.

Mazda revealed general specs and images of the new vehicle, along with a video on their ‘Mazda UK’ Youtube channel. MX-30 offers a 35.5 kWh battery pack, which can feed the car to travel 124 miles on a single charge. Here is what the carmaker shared, with no price revealed yet.

The look of the car is good, especially considering that Mazda was famous for a movement of going in the opposite direction of electrification. Let’s hope things changed and that they are offering a proper and good EV instead of a model just to say they did it.
