In such uncertain times one thing remains very consistent: the sales of electric vehicles. While the entire world is reeling due to the hardships brought on by the coronavirus, electric car sales are still up compared to the numbers last year.

More than 30,000 fully electric cars were purchased in the UK in the first half of 2020, an increase of 159% from 2019. When adding plug in hybrids, that number jumps to an impressive 50,000.

According to a recent What Car? poll, 26% of people are more likely to switch over to an electric vehicles in lieu of the global pandemic and the change it has brought to not only the auto industry, but every industry for that matter.

For those looking to make the switch to electric, it can be quite overwhelming, especially with all the new vehicles expected in the coming months. However, thanks to the What Car?
