The long-awaited moment to see the Tesla Semi, the electric truck introduced by Elon Musk in 2017, in action is finally coming to an end. This year the American manufacturer intends to deliver 15 units of its brand new fully electric tractor to the food and beverage giant, PepsiCo
The Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) electric truck does not generate polluting emissions during its use, avoiding air pollution during its operations, which improves conditions in the work, distribution, loading, and unloading centers.
Like any electric truck, it is surprisingly quiet compared to a traditional one, powered by conventional diesel engines. But like a good Tesla, it is also incredibly fast since it can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in just over 5 seconds without a trailer.

As confirmed by PepsiCo, “15 Tesla Semis are expected to be added to the fleet by the end of 2021.” This would mean the start of production and proof that 100% electric heavy transport mobility is viable.”
The arrival in the real world of Elon Musk’s proposal must show that the promises made in 2017 can be a reality, driving a revolution in the sector such as that created by its zero-emission sedans and SUVs.
